Our recent collaboration on the Bridgewater Project for Unipart at an NHS supply chain site showcases the strength of our longstanding relationship and our unwavering commitment to delivering bespoke solutions.
Project Scope
The Bridgewater Project aims to complete a comprehensive overhaul of the site’s HVAC systems. Our task was to decommission and remove all existing, life-expired air conditioning and ventilation systems. The entire site was then outfitted with a centrally controlled Mitsubishi system, complete with advanced built-in software.
Overcoming Challenges
The initial phase of stripping out the old systems revealed an unexpected challenge: the new units did not fit within the existing site fabrication. This discovery necessitated a swift change in our approach. We undertook an intrusive survey, identifying a more suitable solution that required adjusting the mezzanine wall. This adjustment allowed for the seamless installation of the new units. Through our dedicated efforts and willingness, we were able to upgrade the system supplier to Mitsubishi from Daikin, providing a cost-neutral solution for our client. This achievement was made possible by our commitment to adapt and innovate in response to on-site challenges.
Seamless Collaboration with Trusted Partners
Our success on this on-going project was strengthened by working with our trusted supply chain partner and our Project manager, Laura Brookes. Laura ensured daily health and safety updates, providing full reports and detailed breakdowns of project timelines along with photo updates on a daily basis, reporting on progress.
